cylinder
Hey! - Im Ady, i need your help guys! I need more clarification than help, right... i need to figure out the volume of cylinder so,: Diameter - 10.5m Length - 1695m so we know that volume of cylinder = pi x (radius of base^2) x height or V = pir^2h .........Solution? r = 5.25^2m v = pi x 5.25 x 1695 = pi x 27.56 x1695 = 146,766.0164m^3 This is right? Cheers guys!

V = pi r^2 h = pi (5.25)^2 1695 ~= 146770.3 cubic metres

It doesn't look to me like you did anything wrong. I suspect the only difference between your calculation and CaptainBlack's was, perhaps, the number of digits of $\pi$ you used. They are both the same answer to the required number of significant digits.
