Question about perspective and which mountain is taller

It is the question on page ten of this link http://www.educationaldesigner.org/e...dt_09_fig3.pdf I am having particular trouble with the last part about which mountain appears taller please help me. Also could you please explain how you got the answer as I would like to understand how to do it if I were asked to do a similar question again.
    Thank You

Re: Question about perspective and which mountain is taller

Proportional angles of view for Mount Bart & Homer are:

    Bart: 1200/20 = 60

    Homer: 1500/30 = 50

Bart looks higher. If Homer was 1800m then would look the same height as Bart.
