If one side is a then total length is 4a and one breadth is a

so total perimeter is 4a+4a+2a=372
10a=372
a=37.2
so area of one square is 37.2*37.2=1383.84

If one side is a, then the total length is 5a...
Notice how there are 5 squares?

One side is 5a, not 4a; so 12a = 372 ; a = 31 ; a*a = 961 (as per Sir Jasper)
