The area of an ellipse is $\displaystyle \displaystyle \begin{align*} \pi \, a \, b \end{align*}$, and the area of a circle is $\displaystyle \displaystyle \begin{align*} \pi \, r^2 \end{align*}$.
Can you recognise what the values of a and b are from the equation of your ellipse? Can you recognise what the radius is from the equation of your circle?
