I need help with this problem below. "The area of a sector of a circle is 24 pi yd^2. If the arc of the sector is 60 degrees, find the diameter of the circle."

Since the arc is 60 degrees, the area of the sector is 1/6 of the area of the whole circle.
Because the sector area is 24pi, the area of the entire circle is 24pi*6=144pi. This means the radius is 12, and so the diameter is 12*2=24
