Triangles. help me with these questions please

Help please.. so my teacher gave this extremely hard geometry questions **without even explaining** it clearly. so i'm stucked and confused.. help me with these questions please!

as much as possible, please explain so i can do it on my own when it comes to our test.. or if you dont want to answer, just explain it to me so i can answer it on my own..

**P.S: I removed numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 because I already solved their answers.. thanks**

2.Can a triangle have angles equal to

a. 55°, 65°, 70°

b. 53°, 64°, 73°

c. 80°, 105°, 5°

7. In (triangle)△DEF, <D, <E and <F -44° (deg), Find <D and <E

thanks guys! :)

thank you so much.. you don't need to answer all of them.. only if you can.. i need help here.. explain please..

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

The sum of the angles of any triangle is 180°. You can use that fact for nearly all of the problems.

For example, 1a. 55° + 75° + x° = 180°. Simplifying LHS gives 130° + x° = 180° --> x = 50.

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

Quit blaming your teacher and start listening in class...

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

I'm sorry ^ But it's true that he didn't explain to us these questions. I'm not blaming him. I'm telling the truth.. :D

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

That's not really my point:

if you do not know that a triangle has a total of 180 degrees, then there's not much

that can be done HERE to help you: you need your teacher, like it or not...

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

im sorry.. im really slow that why i didnt really get the questions at first and when richard1234 explained some of it i tried doing them that's why i have deleted a few of my questions already... analyzing questions are my problem. ;D but what i really cannot do is 2 and 7.. which is real confusing..

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

2.Can a triangle have angles equal to

a. 55°, 65°, 70°

b. 53°, 64°, 73°

c. 80°, 105°, 5°

Add the angles: is the sum = 180 degrees? If not, then NOT a triangle (Wink)

7. In (triangle)△DEF, <D, <E and <F -44° (deg), Find <D and <E

YOU read that...does it make any sense? WHAT is equal to -44 ? (Lipssealed)

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

OH lol i'm sorry abt number 7..

it's

in triangle DEF, angle D = angle E and angle F = 44degrees ; find angle D and angle E

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

C'mon Elmo, that's easy...

Since angle F = 44 then angle D + angle E = 180 - 44 = 136;

and since angle D = angle E then ?????

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

thanks :D they're 68deg :) solved.. :D ty again

Re: Triangles. help me with these questions please

Fine, Elmo...try HARDER next time !
