Degrees of a ten sided figure

Hi the question is:

I am aware the sum of degrees in a ten sided figure will be (n-2)180 so in this case 1440 degrees
So each angle will have 144 degrees. However I am confused by the question.
It requires degrees between two adjacent sides ? Could anyone please explain these ??

"Adjacent" means "next to each other." So two adjacent sides will form a interior angle.
