Degrees of a ten sided figure

Hi the question is:

So each angle will have 144 degrees. However I am confused by the question.

It requires degrees between two adjacent sides ? Could anyone please explain these ??

"Adjacent" means "next to each other." So two adjacent sides will form a $\displaystyle 144^{\circ}$ interior angle.
