Thread: Problems with an isosceles triangle

There is an isosceles triangle. From one apex of that triangle we need to draw two straight lines dividing our isosceles triangle into three triangles. How to draw those lines so that every two of the three new triangles could be joined and that when joined they would create an isosceles triangle?

Please can you explain it with a picture or a diagram?

This is my tries to solve this problem. I am just wondering whether it is correct. Just triangles 1+2 must create an isosceles, 2+3, and 1+3 also.
The second try is done with the idea that all for triangles are joined and create two isosceles triangles.
