Space goemetry question
Designate by I the midpoint of [AB] a side of square ABCD of length 6cm
M is a point of the perpendicular to the plane (p) of the sqaure
calculate IM knowing that the line (MC) makes an angle of 60 degree with the plane of the square

Notice that the triangle IMC is right angled, with angle MIC being the right angle and angle ICM being 60 degrees. Also note that triangle IAC is right angled, which means you can use Pythagoras to evaluate the length of segment IC. Once you have that, you will have the a length and an angle of triangle IMC, which means you can use trigonometry to evaluate segment IM.
