Given: Triangle VWX, Line VY bisects Angle WVX, and Line VZ is congruent to Line ZY

Prove: (VZ over VX = WY Over WX)
VZ = WY

The relationship you have given would be true if the triangles were similar. How could you go about showing that they are similar?

HINT:
Let angle XVW = 2v; then v = angle ZVY = angle ZYV, forcing angle XZY = 2v
