Can any one explain how could I find the area of b in this image.

Well, with the info you've given (which is zip), all I can suggest is take a ruler
and measure the rectangles labelled "B".

Thank you for the comment. That is all information I've got from my lecturer. I think if there is no other way i should as you said.

Are you saying your "lecturer" gave you NO lengths of any of the sides?
Perhaps he was drinking Vodka ?
