Thread: circumscribed circle of a isoscles triangle

Hi guys,

I think I need your help with one problem. We have triangle with two sides of length x and one side of length y. How to find radius of circumscribed circle of this triangle, using only x and y? And also, is there any proof that radius of circumscribed circle is at least twice as long as radius of the inscribed circle?
