Hi!
I have a little problem with this Mesuration question. I have stated the question as well as what I have done so far. Thanks!
The question states that a wall of length 9m and breadth 4m has to be covered by square tiles of side 12 cm. You have to find the no. of tiles required. Then the questions says the tiles cost Rs. 36 per 100 sq. m and then we have to find the total cost of all tiles.
P.S.
1 Rupee= 100 Paise
Ok, quite a simple problem.
The area of wall will we 36 sq. m (360000 sq. cm)
The area of tile will be 144 sq. cm
So to get the 1st answer i.e. no. of tiles required
we will have to divide 360000 by 144 which gives
us 2500. So, 2500 tiles are required.
The second part of the question is what I think is a bit challenging.
If 100 sq. m will cost Rs. 36
then 36 sq. m will cost how much?
I don't kow how to type in fractional forms on the.
So I think the answer should be
Rs. 12.96 / (Estimated) Rs. 13
Could you please give me a detailed explanation regarding the
second part?
I'm not too sure of my answer of the cost thingy but that's what
I got......
Any Help will Be Appreciated
Thank You
