    Quick help plz

    ok i dont understand this im a newb in this stuff....
    The volume of this pyramid is 72m^3. if the area of the base is 36m^2 wats the height?


    AHH is it 2?

    Hello,

    the bad news first: No.

    You calculate the volume of an pyramid as V= \frac{1}{3} \cdot A \cdot h

    where A is the area of the base, h the height of the pyramid and V the volume.

    Put the values you know in the formula above:

    72= \frac{1}{3} \cdot 36 \cdot h and solve for h:

    \frac{3 \cdot 72}{36}=  h and you'll get h = 6.
