ok i dont understand this im a newb in this stuff....
The volume of this pyramid is 72m^3. if the area of the base is 36m^2 wats the height?

AHH is it 2?

You calculate the volume of an pyramid as $V= \frac{1}{3} \cdot A \cdot h$

where A is the area of the base, h the height of the pyramid and V the volume.

Put the values you know in the formula above:

$72= \frac{1}{3} \cdot 36 \cdot h$ and solve for h:

$\frac{3 \cdot 72}{36}= h$ and you'll get h = 6.
