The carpet she has chosen costs $19 per square meter, the padding costs $4 per square meter and the installation costs $4.5 per s met. \mbox{Area}=4.5m \times 5m=22.5m^2

    \mbox{Total cost per m^2}=$19+$4+4.5=$27.5

    \mbox{total cost}=\mbox{Total cost per m^2 \times Area}=$22.5 \times 27.5=$618.75

    9 tiles will cover 1 sq ft, 3ft x 5ft=15 sq ft, so 9 x 15 = 135 tiles will be needed.
