1. ## Lengths of Triangles

I need help proving CP x AB = 1 if CA = PB = 1.

2. ## Re: Lengths of Triangles

Hello, Crayola!

Is some information missing?

$\text{Prove: \;if }CA = PB = 1\text{, then }CP \times AB \:=\:1.$

Code:
              C
*
*  *
*     *
1 *        *   P
*           *
*        *     *  1
*     *           *
*  *                 *
A *  *  *  *  *  *  *  *  * B

This is true if $AP$ bisects $\angle A.$

I know it is true, and AP does bisect angle A. I need help proving it though.

Like how can I prove this?

HI crayola,
Google angle bisector theorem proof. The theorem states that if your angle A is bisected by AP then CP / PB = AC /AB.Proof requires construction lines
