Hello all-
This is my first post here on this website. I'm absolutely terrible at mathematics, but I find it to be the most fascinating thing in the world, and thus would like to learn. The past few weeks I have been thinking about Pi, and had a question about it: How is it calculated to any lengthy number of digits? If the digits have no pattern, how can it be done? I'm not sure if this is a stupid question or not--like i said, I'm bad at math, but am always thinking about it. So any insight or helpful links would be much appreciated :)
