Help with this SAT QUESTION OF THE DAY PLEASE.

Length=x and width=y in rectangle B

Hence,

Length=(9/10)x and width=(7/10)y in rectangle A

You know I just gave a balue to B and got this.

If B Lenght = 20 and Width = 10

90% of 20 = 18 and 70% of 10 = 7.

Then if you do 20*10 = 200 and 7* 18 = 126 the percent = 63?
But I suppose there has to be an easier way

how about taking the length as 10 and width also as 10

so the area of B is 100 and the area of A is 63

That makes even more sense ... I just for some reason can't get the numbers to make sense. Really I could say is like if they are making me crazy and I can't think of how to well. I feel like I should review some of my old math

Triangle B = 1 by 1
Triangle A = (1 - .10) by (1 - .30) = .9 by .7 = .63 = 63%

Minor mistake that is
