    volume of a cylinder

    Can anyone help I need to find out the volume of a cylinder the the diameter is 6.2M x 4.2M.

    So, this is an ellipsoid cylinder? You still can't calculate volume without height.

    Assuming that the OP meant that the diameter is 6.2m and the height is 4.2m, you need to recognise that the radius is 3.1m, then apply \displaystyle V = \pi r^2 h.
