Thread: volume of a prism

hi, i nned to work out the volume of this prism:



the diagram shows a prism of length 20cm.
The cross section is a parallelogram as shown.

i don't really know how to work out the volume of this so some help would be gratefully recieved!!!

im unsure but would i do cross section x length??

Volume of prism = area of base x height. area of base = 100 sq units. Height is not defined.

ok, so would it be 6x5=30?

oh then 30x20=600! thanks!
