Geometrically, a triangle is NOT what we call a curve; so it does not have any particular [i]form[i] of equation. A triangle in a 2d plane is constructed by 3 straight lines, no two of which are parallel. Once you know the equations of those 3 straight lines, they represent a triangle.

Any equation in two dimensions represents a curve, not a figure like a triangle. You could, for example, write three equations representing the three sides of the triangle.
