1. ## Pythagoras' Theorem.

I'm way overdue in my Geometry assignments and I have a few problems that are stumping me. I don't necessarily want the answer to these problems but would like step-by-step help:

2. Find the value of x.

2. Each of these is solved by putting the values of each side into the equation for Pythagoras' Theorem, i.e. $\displaystyle a^2 + b^2 = c^2$, where $\displaystyle c$ is the hypotenuse.

Post what you have done and show where you are stuck please.

I assume geometry assignments are meant to be your own work and not the work of others.
