    Slope

A hiking trail makes a steady climb up a mountain. If the slope of this trail is 0.6 foot, and the run is 800 feet, how much higher up the nountain will a hiker be at the end of the trail?

You know, you could have asked all of these questions in one post, they're all pretty much the same...

    Regardless, use Pythagoreans Theorem.

If "run" here is used as is common in "slope" problems, the Pythagorean theorem does not apply here, just the definition of "slope".
