I have very basic question about Alt. Ext
if a have a triangle with the hypothenus facing right, and te to legs make a 90degree angle i have one say is X and the exterior is Y how do i find this?

Huh? What does this even mean? What is X? Is it the length of one of the legs? Is it the 90degree angle? I assume an exterior angle is Y, but which one? Is it the one that forms a linear pair with the right angle?

Sorry i understand it now, The Ext angle is the sum of the two non adjacent Int. Angles
