Smile Proving the side in a triangle is half as long as the hypotenuse.

Prove that in a right triangle with a 30 degree angle, the side opposite that angle is half as long as the hypotenuse. Thanks.

Block the triangle with a circle, the circle radius is c/2(why?)... now what?

    Hello, RoyJones!

Prove that in a right triangle with a 30 degree angle,
the side opposite that angle is half as long as the hypotenuse.

Draw an equilateral triangle with an altitude.
    The proof should be obvious.
    Code:
                *
               /|\
              / | \
             / | \
            / | \
