    2D plane in 3D space problem

    Hi everone

    I'm currently writing a C++ plugin to be used in conjunction with maya and I have hit a brick wall.

    I need need some help with how to determine a 2d plane in 3D space.

    Is this a mathematical question or a programming question?
    The equation ax+by+cz=d is a plane with normal vector <a,b,c>.
