    Help with vectors - standard form?

    I am having trouble with the following question:
    Write c in standard form, c = [-2]
    [ 8 ]

    ^ equal

    \bold{c} = -2 \hat{i} + 8 \hat{j}

    I'm not sure. This seems kind of vague...
