interesting problem
Given two circular swimming pools each of radius 3 meters, if the center of each circle is on the circumference of other circle, find the perimeter of the swimming pool?
So, 12pi is the perimeter of both pools....but im not sure where to go from there.

The triangle is equilateral, you know the angle, then you can find the red arc. Subtract it two times from the perimeter of one circle to find half perimeter of the pool, then multiply it by two to get entire perimeter of the pool.
