    a box in the shape of a cube has a volume of 64 cubic inches. what is the length of a side of the box? expalin

    let the length of a side of the box be x.

    since the box is a cube, all the sides have the same length, so each side is length x.

    Now, the volume of a cube is given by:

    V = length*width*height = x*x*x = x^3 = 64
    => x = cuberoot(64)
    => x = 4
