    A (-2,4)
    B (6,-2)

    Use the distance formula to find the distance between point A and point B in the problem. Using this formula insert the values. Please explain this to me if you can. Thank you!

    Formula : Sqrt (x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2

    I know what was throwing you off. You had your points lined up wrong, (-2,4) in particular.

    Consider this instead...
