1. ## Plz help confused

My some one plz help I confused in this problem I thnk I did it wrong.
If so where did I go wrong.

A triangular prism has a height of 12 m. What is the surface area of the prism if its bases are right triangles w/ legs 3 meters and 4 meters?

C^2 = 3^2 + 4^2
C^2 = 9 + 16
C^2 = 25
C= 5

P= 4 + 3 + C
P= 4 + 3 + 5
P= 12

B = 1/2 bh
B = 1/2 (4)(3)
B= 1/2 (12)
B = 6

L = Ph
L= 12 (12)
L= 144

S= L + 2B
S= 144 + 2 (6)
S= 144 + 12
S= 156 m

Thank you for the help.

You are correct!!

3. Here's a nice site that deals with the surface area of rectangular, circular and triangle prisms
