    Similar volumes

    A rectangular tray has length 60cm, width 40cm and depth 2cm. It is full of water. The water is poured into an empty cylinder of diameter 8cm
    Calculate the depth, in cm of water in the cylinder. Answer to 3 sig figs.

    I did
    60*40*2= \pi 4^2h
    4800=16\pi h
    \frac{4800}{16\pi}=h=942.3777961=942<br />
    correct?
