Will someone please explain to me how to reach the answer. My math teacher never fully explains the processes and then give us homework and expects us to automatically know it..Anyone please help me. I really need to figure this out. Thank you in advance!

The sum of the two acute angles in any right triangle is a right angle.

Thus,
x + 3x-10 = 90

4x - 10 = 90

4x = 100

x = 25
