    Pi - area

    This is a maths problem that i will need to help me with my revision for my exams next week so please could you answer this problem:
    The radius of a circle is 12mm. what is the area of the circle to the nearest mm squared.

    The formula you need to remember is the area of a circle.

    A=\pi*r^2

    Where A = area
    \pi= 3.14159
    r = radius

    Spoiler:

    A=\pi*r^2=\pi*12^2=\pi*144=452.389=452mm^2
