    Intersection points

What is the maximum number of points of intersection of two different lines and three different circles in the same plane?

I keep on getting 18, but that is not one of the answer choices I am given.

    A:9
    B:13
    C:19
    D:22
    E:25

    suggestions?

Counting the intersection point of the two lines, I find 13.
Please show us how you get 18.

I understand now, how you are going about this problem. You are drawing a coordinate plane, with 3 concentric circles, all 3 intersecting with the X and Y axes correct?

Well, according to the answer key that I am given, the correct answer is 19.
