    triangle in a circle rt angle

    Can someone help me out...I am studying for an exam and cannot figure out the attached

    Hi igottaquestion,

    If you're trying to prove the theroem that an inscribed angle in a semicircle is a right angle, then a pretty good demonstration can be found here:

    this seems to be a bit off. 2x+2y=180 as all you need
