Please help meee!

A right triangle has one leg four times as long as the other.
Write its perimeter P in terms of the length x of the shorter leg.

if the shorter leg is x , then the longer leg is 4x and since its a right triangle , you can use the phythagoras theorem to find its hypothenus which is , so

p= +x+4x

Hypotenuse = SQRT(x^2 + (4x)^2) = SQRT(x^2 + 16x^2) = xSQRT(17)

Perimeter = x + 4x + xSQRT(17) = x(5 + SQRT(17))
