A right triangle has one leg four times as long as the other.
Write its perimeter P in terms of the length x of the shorter leg.
hi
if the shorter leg is x , then the longer leg is 4x and since its a right triangle , you can use the phythagoras theorem to find its hypothenus which is $\displaystyle x\sqrt{17}$ , so
p=$\displaystyle x\sqrt{17}$+x+4x
