1. How many 4' x 8' sheets of drywall do you need for the walls of a 12' x 20' room, 8 ft high?


2. If ceramic tiles are 8" x 8", how many tiles would it take to cover an area 4'x6'?

the sheets are tall enough at 8'

12'/4' = 3 for one short wall

20'/4' = 5 for one long wall wall

how many sheets total?

4' = 48'' , 48''/8'' = 6

6' = 72'' , 72''/8'' = 9
