    Geometry: Triangles

    Here are the two questions:

    It's 8th grade math so I'm hoping it isn't too difficult, it's actually only the second one but I need the first to see if I got it correct.

    If you can, please answer showing how it's done instead of just the answer. thanks.

    the area of the triangle is 4*3/2=6 which is base times height.

    now take the base to be the 5.
    so are is 5*h/2
    and this should be 6. so find h.

    EDIT: Nevermind about the second one, I just saw that I have to assume that the shape is a kite.
