When it says graph the reflection of triangle ABC in the line x = 5. I have a point at (3,6). For the answer I got (3,4). <<<<<< Correct
I was wondering did I relfect this correctly or did I mess up?
Also there is one that says y = 0 how would I reflect something there? <<<<< y = 0 is the equation of the x-axis. So you have to reflect the original points about the x-axis.
Now another question I have is with rotation using a protractor. I have a point on (-9,0) I have to rotate this 180 degrees and it ended up at (-1,0) I don't think that is correct though. The squares are 3/16 of an inch if that matters. <<<<<<< If the center of rotation is at (-5, 0), then you are right.
Thanks for your help. (Itwasntme)
