    solid geometry problem

    Two tangent segments to a circle from an external point makes an angle of 120 degrees. If the radius of the circle is 5 cm, how long are the two tangent segments?

    connecting the external point and the centre of circle, you get a pair of congruent and right-angled triangles.
    the 120 degrees is bisected into two 60 degrees. in the end, apply Tangent ratio to find out the length of the tangent.
