Question A confusing GRE question on angles

    Hi all,
I am new to this forum. I really liked it.
I have the following question. It looks easy but I am confused. Because according to me the answer should be B. As you see in the answer explanation both 45 and 105 are on the figure but I think only 105 indicates a complete turn from one runway to another which is from runway 2 to runway 3, an airplane on runway 2 must turn 105 to the right onto runway 3. But no complete turn from a runway to another is 45.
I need your opinions on this question. Thank you in advance.
(Question and answer explanation are below. Taken from a book.)

    Hi hxibrahim,

Suppose you are on runway 1 to the left of runway 3.
To turn onto runway 3, wouldn't that be a 45 degree turn?

You'll have to extend runway 1 to the left to see this, but I suppose that's legal.

That's the only way I see getting onto another runway by turning 45 degrees.

    Hi masters,
    Thank you for your response.
I have thought extending the runway 1. However according to figure I thnik only way for an airplane to direct to runway 3 from runway 1 is going to the west direction (from east.)
Wouldn't extending the runway 1 to the left cause to create another figure?

I guess all possibilities should be thought but I am not sure whether it is legal or not. If you say it is legal then I think I limited myself only to the figure

I don't know if that's the reasoning or not. That's the only way I can see to make a 45 degree turn onto another runway. If the answer they want is truly option (C), then what other explanation is there?
