    Volume of a cuboid given areas of adjacent sides

    "The areas of three three adjacent sides of a cuboid are X, Y and Z square meters. Find volume of the cuboid."

    Can anybody help me solve the above problem?

    V = LWH

    let ...

    LW = X

    WH = Y

    LH = Z

    V = LWH = \frac{X}{W} \cdot \frac{Y}{H} \cdot \frac{Z}{L}

    V = \frac{XYZ}{WHL} = \frac{XYZ}{V}

    V^2 = XYZ

    V = \sqrt{XYZ}<br />
