#1. A surveyor places pins at three corners of a property. The distance along one of the property is 80 feet, and the distance along the other side is 150 feet. Explain what measurement the surveyor can use to determine whether the two sides of the property are perpendicular.

What should the measurement be?

Could you use 80^2+ 150^2= c^2

6400+22,500= 28,900 and the square root of 28,900 is 170

So when they ask to "explain what measurements the surveyor can use to determine whether the two sides of the property is perpendicular? Would I answer is by writing, 80^2 + 150^2= 170?

and also when they say "What should the measurements be" is the answer to that 80 feet, 150 feet, and 170 feet?
