# Thread: Geometry - Determine the angles

1. ## Geometry - Determine the angles

Ok. I've got a huge problem with this problem. Please use much text when you explain how to solve It so I understand.

2. Here is a strong hint: $m\left( {\angle ADB} \right) = 90^ \circ$.
Because it is an angle inscribed in a semicircle.

ok. thanks. I understand that perfectly. But then what?

4. What do you know about inscribed angles? After all that is the essence of this exercise.
$\angle ABD$ is the third angle of a right triangle and it is also an inscribed angle.
From its measure you can get the measure of $\text{arc}(AD)$.
From that you can get the measure of $\text{arc}(DAB)$.
Which gives you the measure of $x$.
