    Question Square and circle....

    A square and circle have the same area...Which one will have greater perimeter?Explain....

    Consider a square with sides of length 1 unit. The area of the square is 1 square unit. The perimeter is 4 units.

    Now consider a circle with an area of 1 square unit. Calculate it's circumference (perimeter). Is it bigger or smaller than 4?
