Max's dog house is 35 feet from Puddles' dog house. Max's leash extends 20 feet from his dog house and Puddles' leash extends 18 feet from her dog house. Draw a diagram showing the areas where each dog can run. Do the areas overlap?

    Hello,

I've attached a diagram which shows the situation. The overlapping area is tinted in green.

    ok

It's easy from the diagram to see what's actually going on.
