was wondering if anyone could help me on a maths cwk of university level.
i am stuck on the following questions:
1. Suppose that p, q and r are Boolean variables. Draw a table showing all the possible combinations of values for p, q and r and in the last column of the table give the value of the Boolean expression pq + q + r for each combination.
Only using appropriate rows from the table, write down an expression that gives the same output as pq + q + r so that the expression is in disjunctive normal form (DNF). (10 marks)
Use a Karnaugh Map to find the simplest form of your DNF expression.
does anyone have any idea on advice to give me? it would be very much appreciated, thanks!
