If I were you, I would go to my college library or bookstore and find a good textbook in discrete mathematics such as one be Ken Rosen.

Calculus is continuous, you know, integration and differentiation. This branch of math is discrete.

good Discrete Mathematics textbooks
I would suggest you to read some discrete mathematics College Textbooks. I like Rosen's Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications. easy to understand. You may also take a look on the Dossey's Discrete Mathematics, 5th Edition.
Anyway, discrete mathematics are very interest topic and wish some help for you.

Roughly speaking, "Discrete Mathematics" includes all mathematics that does NOT rely upon "limits" or "continuity" which you might recognize as the basis of Calculus.

I did a course on Discrete Maths in my second year at uni - and it didn't involve any calculus! It was taken by two lecturers, and so covered two very different topics. The first was mathematical programming, which I can remember virtually nothing about but it conjures up in my mind memories of networking and the simplex algorithm. The second was more interesting, although again I can only remember bits and bobs. It was basically a big splurge of pure maths - basic set theory, interesting linear algebra (coding and the like), graph theory, counting, automata, algorithms, etc.

good discrete mathematics reference textbook
I use the college textbooks Susanna's Discrete Mathematics with Applications. Very good reference textbook if you are studying discrete mathematics
