Find sum of terms of this finite arthm. series

3+4.5+6+7.5 + ... 99

Is this correct?

The initial term is 3 and each number increases by 1.5...so

S(65) = 1.5(3 + 65)*65/2
S(65) = 1.5(68)*65/2
S(65) = 1.5*65*34
3,315

Why do you think there is a problem ?

I didn't. I just wanted to make sure i had it down. I was just reading the chapters.
